Position Overview
Hall Communications is looking for a full-time production director for our Lakeland, Florida radio group whose main responsibility is to facilitate the flow of commercial production and long-form programming. The production director will manage the process from P/O through our CMS into our digital on-air system. The production director will ensure quality control on all production elements. The production director will report to the director of operations.
Duties and Responsibilities
Serve as administrator in vCreative, our commercial content management system
Work closely with AE’s to ensure accuracy of P/O’s
Assign production to on-air talent through vCreative and follow-up to be sure it is completed
Produce commercials in cases where out-of-market or non-on-air talent have provided voice
Write commercial copy as needed
Record commercials/PSA’s as needed
Schedule and record client sessions
Record and edit long-form programming and occasionally play-back live on the air when needed
Ensure quality control of final product throughout production system
Other duties related to production as they arise
Position Requirements
3-5 years’ experience producing radio commercials
Proficient in Adobe Audition and vCreative software – Familiarity with Audio Vault a plus
Strong problem-solving, analytical, time management and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
