Rock supergroup Dead & Company have announced that their final tour will take place in Summer 2023.

Announcing the news on Instagram, John Mayer said, “As we put the finishing touches on booking venues, and understanding that word travels fast, we wanted to be the first to let you know that Dead & Company will be hitting the road next summer for what will be our final tour.”

“Stay tuned for a full list of dates for what will surely be an exciting, celebratory, and heartfelt last run of shows,” he added.

The rock band’s guitarist and vocalist also shared a rose-adorned promotional tour poster for the tour in his social media post. No other details of the tour were revealed.

Besides Mayer, Dead & Company consists of former Grateful Dead members Bob Weir on guitar and vocals, Mickey Hart on drums, and Bill Kreutzmann on drums, along with Oteil Burbridge (bass, percussion, and vocals) and Jeff Chimenti (keyboards).
